Setelah beberapa kali rumor akan game Resident Evil 6 dari Capcom bocor di internet, akhirnya sebelum viral campaign-nya berakhir muncul trailer Game Resident Evil 6 ini secara resmi.
Game Resident Evil 6 ini yang rencananya akan rilis di 20 November 2012 untuk Playstation 3 dan X-Box 360 dan disusul versi PC nya. Game ini juga katanya menjanjikan sebagai dramatic horror experience of the year. Seperti yang dikatakan pada press releasenya mengenai detil game tersebut:
